Being pollinated by a greater bee fly
Being pollinated by a common eastern bumblebee
Being pollinated by a yellow jacket
Debating with friends if that is a fly disguised as a bee / wasp or a small gall wasp. Found on a dandelion by a large tree at the MHC campus overhang above the green house. It was alone. Warm day (50s or 60s F) with slight cloud cover and a cool wind.
