Observed on a trail, 10/18, at approximately 2:24 p.m, at Werner-Boyce State Park Scenic Dr Trail Head. Weather was warm and sunny, at about 90 degrees, little to no cloud cover. He was walking down the center of the trail surrounded by brush and forest.
Weather: Foggy @ 72 degrees Fahrenheit. 0 mph wind and no precipitation at time photo was taken.
This organism was observed in an old (dry) wetland 50 m away from the Hillsborough river near Flatwoods. The web was set up between a old stump and a man-made walkway. My hand was used for contrast and didnt' interfere with this spider. ID was made using the two red markings on the back along with the shape of the body
