This alligator was fairly large, around two or three meters in length. The back of it was very scaly and it was dark green in color. It was on the other side of the river and was perched next to the water. There were many other alligators in or around the river nearby. It was found in a swamp habitat on a warm, sunny day with no wind.
Just along the edge of the Wainfleet Conservation area, easily accessible via a trail.
A pair of Bald Eagles viewed by a group of 18 people along a trail.
Perched atop a tree just watching the group go by.
Large nest below in the fork of the tree. The fork is high off the ground. Not experienced enough to know if it was the eagles nest.
Approx. a month earlier, same area saw a young bald eagle, also perched atop a tree watching a group of us along the trail. We passed right under the youngster.
