We thought it was likely common and not NW based on habitat - what do you think? Interestingly, there was a terrestrial garter (T. elegans) a few meters away - but we didn't get a good photo of it.
common throughout damp areas in general; also may be seen at forest edges. Triangular & 1 large frond - compare against rosette of lady fern (as example, both are deciduous & not seen in winter)
