From video of lone male singing by pass channel at Ross Creek, and then foraging along mossy banks of channel
In Ross Creek car park on Burma Rd. On branch in centre of photo. Present in area since 22 April (heard singing then)
Seen on a swan plant and other plant flower sampling pollen?
Two kereru flew into a small bush reserve by an estuary. Stopped briefly to preen and rest, then took off.
Reasonably common in flocks with other finches, in shrubs in low grassland around lake margin.
