Odor of apricots and raw pork. Taste farinaceous with lasting floral aftertaste. Cap greasy, definitely not viscid. Cut cap flesh staining pinkish.

Habit and Habitat: Scattered in gully down from the pumphouse.
Chaparral, under Rhamnus ilicifolia and scrub oak. Odor mild, pleasant. Gills serrated.
Spores white, inamyloid, with sharp hilar appendage.
Distinct floral odor, detectable at arm’s length.
On dead coast live oak.
KOH- on cap and stipe (exterior and interior).
UV+ bright yellow ONLY AFTER applying KOH.
Cap tacky.
