This juvenile American Alligator was found resting on a log next to the water in Lettuce Lake Park. It was around 4-5 feet in length and still rather small. The alligator has a striped tail and a yellowish underbelly. The weather at the time of discovery was sunny at 93°C. There was little to no wind.

Found toward the entrance of the park. This plant as an alternating placement of leaves and distinct red, orange, and yellow colored flower. This short, woody plant signifies that it is a subshrub, classifying it as a tropical milkweed.

Description: Large, tough shell that is brownish grey in coloring. It is approximately 2-3ft in length.

The deer always are near a like swamp area in my backyard. There is an area with a lot of bushes and trees. There is canal behind our house. The deer like to walk along there.
