base of cedar in red maple/cedar swamp. This is the first known record of this species on PEI.
On 4 Balsam Fir and White Spruce trees in this area adjacent to/in swamp. Laminal and marginal soredia; soredia many per soralium; light/tan underside; rhizines extending close to margin; epruinose lobe tips; cortex K+ yellow, medulla C+ red. Currently appears to be the first record of the species for Nova Scotia.

Sur écorce de Fraxinus pennsylvanica mature (dhp 35 cm) fraîchement tombé au sol et tué par l'agrile. Sur toute la hauteur de l'arbre, particulièrement vers la cime. Forêt secondaire à l'orée d'une friche herbacée à Solidago, avec Populus deltoides et Acer rubrum.

Apothecia smaller than 1 mm, spores 14x8, at least 16/ascus. On fallen branch from ash tree.

Originally though hallii but maybe scrobiculata? I think either are a good find for YT.
