Interesting Observations
Species for which I have particularly interesting observations
- Rasbora neilgherriensis First iNat record, and from my small village in the middle of nowhere!
- Oides innocua Second iNat record and rather far from the first observation in Kerala.
- Lipotriches fervida Seems to be first known record of the species from Maharashtra; granted it's close to the Karnataka border, but still cool. (actually the second record to my knowledge; but there are no published records as yet, all other records are in litt.)
- Corbicula striatella Pretty common species overall, but second Maharashtra record.
- Saltella orientalis First Maharashtra record and eighth for India.
- Gymnopleurus gemmatus Third Maharashtra record.
- Synonycha grandis First Maharashtra record.
- Epistaurus sinetyi First Maharashtra record.
- Tropidomantis gressitti First Maharashtra record and third for India.
- Atherinomorus First India record.
