My main interest is in identification of vascular plants and their ecosystems. I enjoy Florida history, photography, folk arts, and horticulture as well. Photos - www.flickr.com/photos/adamarendell

I'm the new President of the Ixia Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society (FNPS). Serving all of Duval, Clay and Nassau counties in Northeast Florida. We're a very active chapter that has monthly meetings, field trips, and invasive plant removal workdays.

We also manage Native Park, an award winning city park in the historic Riverside Avondale neighborhood. In 2010 our chapter adopted Native Park to carry out the park's original purpose of increasing public awareness of plants indigenous to north Florida.
