Undergraduate at the University of South Florida with an unequivocal passion for insects and biodiversity. Interests are in insect taxonomy, parasitoids, insects unique to Florida, insect ecology, and insect behavior. I like learning how to identify insects very thoroughly and will sometimes appear out of nowhere identifying taxa after gaining a bit of knowledge.

I do my best to identify insects of any order, but at the moment I'm tackling Diptera. I do not agree to IDs solely because others have agreed.

Profile picture features a Florida true katydid nymph, Lea floridensis. A species largely endemic to Florida, it serves as a testament to the state's unique fauna.
