I am Conservation Chair of the Delaware Valley Ornithological Club (dvoc.org), Philadelphia County Coordinator for the Old-Growth Forest Network (oldgrowthforest.net) and a member of the Philadelphia Botanical Club. As part of the BirdSafe Philly initiative, I am administering the Bird Safe Philly Bird Strikes Project to monitor bird-window collisions in greater Philadelphia. Bird Safe Philly was created in response to the historic collision event that occurred in Philadelphia on October 2, 2020, in which thousands of birds died.
