Always have been interested and curious about all organisms. Masters degree in Wildlife Biology (1982). My masters project involved censusing all vertebrates and insects on a NW Wisconsin bog. The census was to create baseline information to measure the effect on animal populations when using the wetland for tertiary sewage treatment for a small community. Helping out on other masters students projects gave me research experience on Common Loon, Black Bear, White-tail Deer, herps, bats, Sandhill Cranes, Pine Marten, and freshwater fish. Active birder and more recently butterflier. Recent retirement has allowed me to let INaturalisting become a bit of an obsession.
