I patrol the 250 acres of nature preserve surrounding Hamilton Pool. Hamilton Pool is part of the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve (BCP); a 30,428 acre system of endangered species habitat owned by Travis County, the City of Austin, The Nature Conservancy, the Lower Colorado River Authority, and the Travis Audubon Society. I've had a lifelong interest in photography, and I appreciate the help I get from everyone on iNaturalist to accurately identify the species I observe here in the BCP and elsewhere.
