For as long as I can remember I've loved spending time outside--whether that's hiking, camping, or literally anything that gets me outdoors. While in college I started looking more at identifying things and learning as much as I can. I have a B.A. from Washington & Jefferson College in History and Environmental Studies. At this point, I spend most of my free time birding and taking pictures. In addition to birds, I particularly enjoy snakes, butterflies, dragonflies, and spiders.
Most of my identifications are birds--especially in Ohio and the Eastern United States. I occasionally will look at herps, spiders, or mammals. Feel free to ask why I ID'ed something and my justification for that identification.
