Many moons ago I earned a B.Sc majoring in botany and ecology at University of New England, with a Dip Nat Res (thesis on the Blue Mountains distribution and niche parameters of mallee eucalypts E.bauerlenii and E.rupicola (now cunninghamii)).
Life took me away from formal science - I am now an amateur enthusiast. iNaturalist and its wonderful community is reconnecting me to my passion for Australian flora, especially in the Blue Mountains and Canberra regions which are the places that I get to enjoy and explore most frequently.
