I work for The Conservations Volunteers, a national UK conservation charity supporting community green space volunteering projects. My role is the East Sussex Walks Coordinator, managing a programme of volunteer-led one hour group walks and developing a collection of maps for short self-led walks around parks, woods, nature reserves and public footpaths. These are both projects designed to help people connect with nature in a way that is manageable for them for the enormous benefits to physical and mental health.
