I'm a long time nature lover & birder since the mid-1990s. I'm a "lister" and have traveled all over the globe because I love birds! I'm a retired Computer Programmer from Shell Oil since 2013. Now I'm a certified Texas Master Naturalist and fill my time with birding and volunteering as well as tennis and RVing. I'm an education volunteer with Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation for FTWL. I also volunteer with TPWD for bat roost surveys as well as doing the occasional "bat chat" for the public. I am the compiler for the Spring Creek Christmas Bird Count centered just south of The Woodlands. I am a team leader for the Cypress Creek CBC on Katy Prairie. And I help with several other CBCs each year.
