I'm co-director of the Bijagual Ecological Reserve in Costa Rica (www.bijagual.org) and an affiliated research scientist at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I'm primarily interested in plants -- especially climbing ones but am always amazed by the diversity of life -- the products of evolution -- that surrounds us.
