Keen naturalist but biased towards indigenous and introduced trees. Getting to know Dune Strandveld along the Cape West Coast. Learning through trial and error how to rehabilitate degraded dune vegetation. Tree and plant propagation is a hobby. Saasveld Forestry trained (1979 - 1982). Botany Hons. (Wits 1991).
