Hello! I live in Maryland outside of Washington, DC. Birding, butterflying, bicycling, and gardening are my favorite hobbies. I often am out exploring natural areas or in my garden and have my camera ready. I've been birding somewhat seriously since 1990 and added butterfly watching a few years later when the birds quieted down in the summer. Thanks so much to all the naturalists who identify the photos that I post. You are amazing!
