I have had a lifelong love of birds and a more recent (30 year) interest in plants, reptiles, frogs, fungi and just about every aspect of the natural world. In 2010 I started to search for slime moulds (myxomycetes) in the wet eucalyptus forest that surrounds my home in northern Tasmania, Australia. I have amassed 1700 collections representing approximately 120 species including several that are new to science.
