I have just moved to Tuscaloosa, AL to work for The Westervelt Company. Formerly, I was a graduate student NC State University studying Natural Resources. I have a passion for plants, especially getting down and dirty in taxonomic keys for some of the more complex genera! I have really enjoyed iNaturalist as both a resource to scout future places to hike and botanize but also to encourage me to learn new species around me. I previously was a TA for NC State's Dendrology course, where I taught students 181 woody plants found in the Piedmont of North Carolina.
