Nature and the outdoors have been my joy and sanctuary all of my life. As a native Floridian, born in south Miami, my parents inspired me to respect and enjoy nature.
Primary interests and research topics include:
plant ecology of south and central Florida, the Bahamas, endangered, threatened, and rare Florida native plant species research, conservation, recovery, seed bank dynamics, and demography. I research native plant, native animal population, and community ecology. I enjoy learning about organisms, their ecology, morphology, and biology, too!
I appreciate all the observations, identifications, and comments from the iNaturalist community, prioritize identifying what I can to help the community, and practice my keying skills.
