I am deeply passionate about botany and habitat restoration and conservation. I spend time documenting the flora of habitats around the Twin Cities metropolitan area that are threatened by development and/or severe degradation. A large chunk of my botanical focus in 2022-present has been dedicated to familiarizing myself with the genus Rubus.

I spend the majority of my time on iNaturalist identifying the flora of the Great Lakes and the Sonoran Desert. I also do my best to represent Rubus taxa on here by contributing my own observations and helping ID community observations.

Currently I am botanizing remnant mesquite bosques, tobosa grasslands, and other xeroriparian habitats in the Tucson Basin.
