I'm a physicist by vocation and a naturalist by avocation. I was born and educated in Wales, UK and became interested in natural history when I was a young teenager, which was about 70yrs ago. I moved to British Columbia about 60yrs ago and now live in Victoria. My main interests are birds, botany and butterflies.
