Doing the Open Polytech's 'New Zealand Native Plants' course in 2005 changed my life. Before the course I enjoyed walking through the bush but had no idea of what I was missing. How my eyes have been opened! There is treasure galore in Aotearoa's native flora and fauna and the more I learn, the better it gets.
