Are you ready? Our Summer Bioblitz starts tomorrow!
Join the Ecology Ottawa community this weekend as we try to observe and document as many natural observations in our city as possible.
Participating is easy! Here are some helpful instructions:

You have made it to our Project Journal, so it is safe to assume you have already joined Ecology Ottawa’s
iNaturalist Project. Step 1 done! - Get outside! Look for all kinds of wildlife, butterflies, birds, you name it!

Take a picture of your observations. You can take a picture on the iNaturalist app or you can upload them
onto iNaturalist from your photo library. -
Since you have joined the Ecology Ottawa project, your observations will automatically be added to our
Bioblitz! Just make sure to put your location down when you’re adding your observations.
That is it! It's that easy.
