Previously, many families were included in Amaurobioidea, but they were removed until only Amaurobiidae remained. That's why it doesn't make sense to keep the superfamily with just one family. Recently the marronoid spider clade was reviewed and the family Amaurobiidae is going to be divided into more families but not reunited in a superfamily. I am waiting for the work to be included in the World Spider Catalog to transfer the genres to their corresponding families.
