I see that the swap resets the default Common Name. Is that intended or is it a bug?

Before the swap (as So clavigerus)
Erect Powerpuff 0 - default
Erect Clusterhead 1
After the swap (as So claviger - which had no synonyms or common names, so inherited it all from So clavigerus)
Erect Clusterhead 0 - default
Erect Powerpuff (I dont remember if this was "1" or "0" afterwards).
Cannot do more than that I am afraid ...
