I’ve been meaning to post this observation we found this little vireo dazed in the middle of the road after dark it’s feathers were ruffled and it wouldn’t move so we kept it for the night we were able to feed it and get it to drink for two days it wouldn’t flyaway when brought outside but on the third day it looked a lot stronger and flew off when given the chance again

My dad saw this barred owl fly out of a swamp at his construction site. It glided low over the road maybe hunting something and was hit by a car and instantly killed he tried to revive the owl but it was unresponsive.
