Jumped out of a palm tree with a bug in its mouth
Most of my experience with this species is from Borrichia prairies adjacent to rescacas in Cameron County. It seems odd to see them on rocks at the entrance to the Bracken Bat Cave. Their habitat is certainly "variabilis."
