Collected from a garden in Milford sound. Looks similar to Neomyrtus pedunculata but has a Coprosma seed.
One of two nice trees, this trunk is at least 750mm diameter.
This project has reached 10,000 observations. Great stuff.
Locally abundant seedlings in urban roadside shrubland
Lots of these in this area of Chingford Park. Based on guide book “New Zealand Ferns and Allied Plants” I guess Dryopteris, Polystichum, or Lastreopsis.
Does not appear to have “kidney shaped indusia”, but I’m not certain I understand what I’m looking at.
Present in roadside gravel at several Peninsula locations
