Climbed up my arm. This is the one on the right in the photo with two. At first they were skittish when I pulled away some roots and soil to search for life. However, the longer I stayed, the more these began to investigate me. They walked up my arm single file like this, waiting patiently and taking turns. One of them was a little prickly (not this one). After about 10 minutes, these creatures were all over my arms and hands, and springing towards my face. It possible they fly a little. However, they hop so well I couldn't tell for sure.
On power line adjacent to alley
Smalllllllll ant. I felt it on my shoulder, but it is so small it was difficult to see and to move without injuring it. As shown in the photos, it survived. However, the fan blew it away. I guess it lives in my house forever now.

On oak leaf, eating or gathering eggs or larvae (separate entry). More than one similar ant present and others approached this one, exchanged info via antennae, then moved on to other patches of eggs on other leaves. Video shows the interactions.
