Here to learn the names, needs, and wonders of my wild neighbors. They give me joy. They teach me. They humble me. They tell stories, and they ask questions. This is a small nod of gratitude to them.
While I currently work in public health, I studied city and regional planning as well as anthropology and sociology. I have worked in land use planning, housing, transportation equity, and ACE awareness. Questions about how we relate to our environment (and the non-human life it supports) fascinate me.
Advanced credit to my dog, Jeffrey, (see stray furry feet/the brindle blur) for not only facilitating many of my finds but for also finding patience for me each time I stop to take a closer look. Here's to looking a little closer.
