Oman is a fascinating country and there are many people there who are genuinely interested in the environment. The written-language barrier is tough for native Arabic speakers, even those educated abroad with good oral English skills. To encourage more Omanis to use iNaturalist (not just English-speaking ex-pats who are mostly there temporarily), there would have to be some way to accommodate Arabic script input on this platform together with automatic translation into tolerable English. I'm sure that will eventually become possible, but .probably not for some years.
