Heyo, fly folk!
This is our official first meeting of a new series, suggested by @edanko! We will focus on learning the Diptera of New England for the next several weeks, starting with Vermont. We will work on identifying observations left at higher ranks and getting to know the common morphospecies in the region. For simplicity, the identify link is restricted to Brachycera, but we can always change it during the meeting.
Date & Time: 8 PM EDT on Sunday, October 22nd.

NICE
This focus is good for me. Since I have no background or experience, local diptera and repetition will be a great help:) Thank you!
