Weekly statistics between March 28, 2021 and April 3, 2021
This week 146 observers made 630 observations between Sunday, March 28, 2021 to Saturday, April 3, 2021. Among the top five observers, @ronwertz observed 60 examples of life in the Anacostia watershed; @stephen220 contributed 40; @jmgconsult contributed 37; @carrieseltzer contributed 31; and @katiehodge contributed 24. Rounding out the top 10, @wilpersm contributed 21; @katykane contributed 20; @abookb and @caz1hiker each contributed 17; and @blitzen1986 contributed 15. 64 people contributed one observation, 24 people contributed two observations, and 13 people contributed 3 observations. Plants stayed in first place (384 observations), followed by Birds (92 observations). Fungi is in third place with 49 observations, just edging out Insects (46). Very shortly there will be many, many insect (cicada!) observations. Ray-finned fishes (Actinopterygii) had the fewest observations, with just one.
